Investor Days Thuringia connect investors and stakeholders of the start-up community in Erfurt. The event offers a wide range of the latest technologies and innovative business models, an early and later stage pitch stage as well as numerous networking opportunities with over 500 regional, national and international stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem, start-ups, growth companies, venture capitalists SMEs and corporates.
The event offers space for discussion, experience sharing, inspiration and networking and offers the optimal conditions for promising matches and the best deal flow.
The first event day provides start-ups a digital pitch stage where they can present their innovative products and business models and impress valuable investors, cooperation partners and customers. In a live voting investors will choose the three best pitch performances which will be awarded with attractive prizes. There is also the chance to win the public award. This time the virtual stage will belong not only to the founders, investors will also introduce themselves to the online community with a pitch. In preparation for their online pitch all participants receive an exclusive training on investment readiness and pitch performance from experienced coaches.
Despite its virtual format the event leaves much space for networking and feedback exchange. Within an “Innovation Broadcast” the start-ups can present their innovations in detail and interact with the audience in their own digital showrooms. Additional breakout sessions ensure that all participating start-ups get in contact with the right investors.
The interactive event format opens up a lot of space for new discussions with national and international actors of the start-up community as well as with representatives from business and science.
The second event day “Meet the Rising Stars” focuses in particular on innovative growth companies, which are looking for cooperation partners and investors for follow-up financing. Selected companies will present their business concepts to potential investors in a digital format. Each online presentation ends up with a short Q&A session in which CEOs can answer live questions of the audience and investors.
Additional breakout sessions are planned here as well to open up discussions between companies and investors. All presenting companies also receive targeted coaching on the digital presentation of their business model and the following online conversations.
On June 14, start-ups will be in the spotlight. The IDT Pitch Stage offers entrepreneurs the perfect opportunity for presenting their innovative product and business concepts and thus convince investors, corporates and those hungry for innovation. By live voting, a jury of investors elects the most convincing pitch performances, which will be rewarded with attractive prize money and more. Feedback from the audience is also required as it decides which start-up is able to receive the Public Award. In preparation for their pitch, all participants receive an exclusive pitch training with experienced coaches.
The second day is all about the exchange between investors and Thuringian growth companies. After an exclusive investor breakfast for bm-t investee partners and investors, which should also provide the framework for extensive networking, the innovative growth companies will pitch their innovations.
In addition to the live pitches from different industries, the day offers exciting inputs and discussions on the topic of transformation and open innovation, among other things. For those interested in life science, “Future Conference on Medical Technology” of medways will take place parallel to the main program. As an industry association for medical technology and biotechnology, medways is involved in research projects, the approval of medical products and the further training of staff.
