Be part of the ninth edition of one of the biggest startup events in Germany – the Investor Days Thuringia. Pitcher applications are now open and tickets are available.

The Investor Days Thuringia are entering their ninth round to connect start-ups and growth companies with investors and facilitate cooperation. On 5 and 6 June 2024, the event will bring together around 500 representatives of the national and international innovation ecosystem in Erfurt and provide plenty of space for experience sharing, inspiration and networking.

Since the IDT was launched in 2016, over 300 pioneering start-ups and scale-ups from all over Europe, North and South America and Asia have taken the opportunity to present their business concepts on the pitch stage. This year, for the ninth time, the IDT will provide a stage for up-and-coming innovations from all over Germany and the world. A total of over 50 start-ups and scale-ups will be able to present their technologies on two days of the event, either on the pitch stage or in the innovation arena.

Two days, two locations, one goal – investment

Under the motto “The Beat of Innovation”, the first day of the event will take place in Erfurt’s Central Club and put innovation-driven start-ups and early-stage projects in the spotlight. They will pitch their business concepts to the business community and investors in three minutes each. Promising projects from the Thuringian Regional Innovation Programme (TRIP) will also be presenting at the Investor Days. Both the jury and the audience will decide which startup has the greatest potential to shape the future with its innovation in a live vote. The best pitch performances will then be honoured with attractive prize money and other prizes.

In addition, the start-ups will have the opportunity to exhibit their technologies and prototypes in the Innovation Arena and make contact with interested parties. This will give guests an overview of the latest trends and technological developments, allowing them to keep their finger on the pulse. At the end of the day, participants can come together in the dynamic atmosphere of the club and chat over music, drinks and finger food.

On 6 June, the event will continue under the motto “Invest Beyond the Crowd” in Erfurt’s Egapark with a focus on growth companies. The day offers exclusive investors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the startup/venture jungle and find investment cases in a fascinating environment. The companies’ pitches provide the basis for an exchange on future-oriented technologies from Thuringia and allow investors to expand their investment opportunities and make new contacts with excellent teams.

From now until 28 April 2024, start-ups and growth companies can apply for #IDT24 to receive a slot on the pitch stage, a stand in the Innovation Arena and pitch training. Presenting start-ups and scale-ups will also receive free access to the event.

Investors who are looking for new technologies for their deal flow, as well as innovation-hungry people who want to make new contacts and explore the startup community, can secure their tickets at a discounted price until 24 March 2024.
